Royal Copenhagen Blue Line Dinnerware
Blue Line is a faience coffee, tea and dinner service. The service was designed by the architect Grethe Meyer in 1965. In 2000, the service was revived in a lively and colorful version.
The function of the well known shape, which is one of the most distinguished in Danish design, has been maintained and the harmonized range of colors provide endless combination possibilities.
Grethe Meyer says that "things should be simple and pleasant to use, the must appear more and more straightforward every day, in short they must be simple. Their design shaped a beautiful background and a natural framework for the food which helps make every meal a happy one."
