Bing and Grondahl Christmas Jubilee plates

The Christmas Plate from Bing & Grondahl, the world's oldest collector series, made its 110th appearance in 2004. Each year, the plate's motif is also used on an annual figurine ornament, bell, ornament drop, and plaquette.

B&G has been making the Christmas Jubilee  series since 1915, to commemorate the beginning of the Christmas plate tradition in 1895. A new plate has been released every 5th year since that time.  The next is scheduled for release in 2005. 

The Large Christmas plates were only made for 1908, 1909, 1910, and 1911. Pictures and data for them can be found by year, on the Christmas plate list.

In a few years a foreign Bing and Grondahl Christmas plate was also made. These are extremely rare and cost more then the 1895. If you want to know more, please e-mail us.

Prices shown are for 1st quality plates. Unlike Royal Copenhagen, Bing and Grondahl has never released second quality Christmas plates.  All items in stock are in factory new condition, unless otherwise specified.
