Rorstrand

The Rorstrand factory was founded in 1726 as the second Porcelain factory in Europe.  The first Christmas Plates series was started in 1904.  The well known Blue Square Christmas plate series did not start until 1968 and ended in 1999.  The "Ten Commandments" series (of 10 plates) replaced the Christmas plate.
