Ole is a range of innovative designs for the kitchen and table designed by Ole Jensen in 1997. The individual utensils for the kitchen and table are created around a common idea: to unite form and function and turn work into play. Ole Jensen has designed sculptural tools that appeal to your senses and which have functions that are used and experienced in a new way. The handle on the cup flows over the rum until the soft lines rest on the table. The small plate can be used as a plate or as a saucer. The yellow colander functions both as a strainer and, in a single movement, a serving bowl. The juice jug, with built-in citrus press, has a narrow spout that holds back pulp and seeds. Ole Jensen's objective was to connect the products in a melodious way. They do this by each having their own function -"just like a complex family," as Ole Jensen prefers to call the 'Ole' collection.
