Designed by Karen Kjaeldgard-Larsen in 1999, the brush strokes are generally the same, but only fragments of the Blue Fluted pattern are used and the proportions have been enlarged. This opens up a completely new world of graphic impressions and breathtaking shapes. You will be both fascinated and charmed by the fact that such a simple idea can have such a resounding effect on the senses. Blue Fluted Mega opens up a world of countless combinations. A world without rules, where the plates can be turned and rotated as one wishes and put together in a new and individual place settings. For the first time in the 230 years of history of Royal Copenhagen, the Danish company has launched an ensemble of hand-painted ovenware for all uses.

The new members of the Blue Fluted Mega family are heirs to the same proud traditions as the traditional Blue Fluted services. A direct line can be traced back to 1775, when the hand-painted tradition and the blue and white pattern of Royal Copenhagen saw the light of day for the first time.

 As the decoration is tastefully painted by hand on the sides and applied on the inner rim of the trays, the different pieces of the ovenware will mix beautifully with both white service and the additional pieces of the Blue Fluted Mega service.

As the bottoms of the trays have been polished to perfection to avoid the pieces from scratching the dinner table, the well-known back stamp and logo of Royal Copenhagen have been placed on the inside of the trays.
